This month's plan takes a look at part of the larger narrative arc of scripture, beginning with the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and moving through parts of the Old Testament and on into the arrival of the Messiah and the establishment of the Church.
A simple outline for reading the various passages might go something like this:
- Pray that God will open you up to what his Word has to say.
- Read the text:
What does the text say?
What does it mean?
What’s grabbing your heart or attention?
What will you keep chewing on or processing for the rest of the day? - Pray for your day and bring specific requests before the Lord.
