In the fall, Prosperous Youth Foundation (PYF) hosted two 4-day camps for students in our ministry network. Our team worked tirelessly yet again to create a safe and welcoming space for young people to experience camp. This year, God truly humbled me as I reflected on the impacts in the lives of so many students that we work with.

One of our camp counselors, Top, has cerebral palsy. At the start of camp I was excited that he was serving and I remember thinking about how great it was that he was able to be part of our team.

There is a special time during camp where students can meet with their camp counselors to learn more about Jesus and pray. I remember looking over and seeing Top sitting with a student, fervently praying with him. I saw God powerfully using Top, a boy with so many challenges, to love and share the good news of Jesus. In that moment God showed me how he can use anyone despite their situation or challenges.

Each of the students that attended camp this year were able to hear the Gospel and learn more about a God that loves them, values them, and knows them.

This year, 49 students made decisions to follow Jesus and seek a relationship with Him. Another 42 students made a decision to join Telos, a student leadership program that provides training and support to students desiring to serve their community.

While "camp" to me sometimes feels chaotic, loud, and tiring, I'm glad God continues to remind me that He will use anyone and any situation to love and care for his children.
